The MC – 60 Golden Age White, together with its sister MC 60 Golden Age Red, is nothing less than the flagship of the entire Merida Extrema Nylon series.

This marvellous instrument is the result of decades of research and design, of continuous innovation and improvement of the production process, of respect and recovery of the classical European tradition and, finally, of the invaluable acoustic skills of the masters of German production.

This model in particular was designed by Carsten Kobs, a renowned German luthier and pioneer in the construction of double-top guitars, and produced following his specific indications.

The choice of materials fell on a very precious first quality Indian rosewood for the back and sides, and on a delicate Korean white pine for the top.

The crystalline and balanced sound, combined with a volume that gives complete freedom of colors and dynamic variations, lends itself perfectly not only to a classical repertoire but also to more modern and sophisticated sonorities.

The MC 60 Golden age represents a return to the sound aesthetics of the old Spanish school before 1950, in particular the rosette is presented as a tribute to the legendary old schools of Madrid and Barcelona.
